I had that happen in mine twice in a couple of days about 3yrs ago. Second time I smacked the shit out of starter & solenoid with little hammer with chisel type of thing on one end & nothing, Got the shits & smacked negative battery terminal with chisel end of hammer & it started straight away, starter spinning faster than ever before. Checked later & a little corrosion inside lead terminal, a bit of corrode cure & squashed it down tighter, no problems since. Regards oldon.
To replace the starter motor..is this link all I need? or does the housing, solenoid ( and other parts) come seperate? or is the link the complete set up?
