I have added a few pic's of the tyres, not the best photographer but still you can see the wearing........... It on all four tyres, both the outer and inner lugs as well but not all of the lugs........... Spoke to the tyre dealer again today and mention the "wearing-in" period and after over 30 years in his shop, well what can I say other than that he has never heard of such requirements or was aware that the MT's had needed to run them in but he did give me my warranty card to complete as he forgot to give it to me when I got them....... I have to say though, I did win the $1000.00 tyre voucher from Mickey Thompson whilst at Camp Coffs this year..........
So I had done only 400km's when I first went back to the dealer.... Roughly 12 Km's at Wheeney Creek and about 20Km's at Mt. Airly ( both are B+ runs ), so that's less than 40Km's off road usage in total so those who know my driving, know I am not a wild one off road or on road but I do like taking different lines than most others for the fun of it..............

Update.......... I am leading a run to Wheeny Creek for the SJC on the 20th and the M/T guy wants to inspect my tyres after the run...... No issue with that.... Given some M/T items, stubbie holder, cap, pen and the two newest M/T stickers... Yeahhh....
I actually just had fitted some new rims for the TJ on Thursday, including a new M/T spare........ Well, the new M/T tyre, the dealer refused to leave it on as he stated that he could not balance it properly on the new rim so he contacted the M/T distributor and requested a new tyre to replace that one.............. Bad batch of tyres??........

Update........... Thank you Mickey Thompson.......... Received a phone call from their rep. this afternoon.............. They are going to replace all four tyres with new ones obviously but from a different consignment batch... They are aware I went off-road again x2... There has been some more deterioration of the lugs which they want to review... Just have to arrange with the tyre dealer to remove and fit the replacement tyres when the new consignment comes in.... So again, Thank You Mickey Thompson........

Good to here they are replacing them. my Trail Grapplers had at least 2 or 3 times that amount of damage when 1000km old after 2 trips, was going to take them back but thought they would dismiss it as offroad abuse.
