I just purchased 6x Champion iridium spark plugs from rockauto very cheap, and will be purchasing the trans filter and oil locally. I can see bundles on ebay with the kit and 4L trans oil, would that be enough or do I need more?

Shuddering in jeep autos is often caused by other types of ATF being used to top up the transmission.
Doing a service can usually solve it straight away.
To the best of my knowledge the KK uses a 42RLE transmission, the specified ATF is 6.2 litres of Mopar ATF +4, you can use Nulon Synthetic Multi vehicle ATF, or Penrite ATF FS Full Synthetic, available from Super Cheap Auto.

Just an update for everyone.. after changing the spark plugs and giving the transmission a service with a new filter and oil it seems to have fixed the issue, no more shuddering
