I have the same headrests and they are removable just like the front ones iirc. I took the center one off after buying the WG.

Well don't know what I was worrying about. All 5 went in easy as. Could have fit another one or two in.

I just checked how well the 245/75R17 fits in the spare wheel well. It doesn't. I deflated it, and I cut the carpet back so it wouldn't get caught between tyre and car, and then pushed it in. Stopped a couple of inches short of being fully in. Then I had to get it out! Ended up putting a strap around the inner and levering it out with a timber stud. I've got the start of a rear storage idea in my head where it won't matter if the tyre sits up a bit and will look at that soon.

Thanks for the input guys.

I have fit mine in, deflated and pushed in, the top cover sits up a bit but all good. Take your jack out, pound the bracket down and flip the wheel uoside down, mine then fit fine

I took to my wheel well with a porta power and a big hammer. After a couple of hours of massaging i got my 245/75R17 to fit.
Definitely could not go any bigger thou

I wondered about manipulating it with a solid hammer.

Grippy, as to removing the jack, the car didn't come with one when I got it, so I better sort one out. What's the benefit in turning the wheel upside down? The tyre seems to be the limiting factor and not the rim.

I've got a 245x65x17 in my wheel well, it fits easily when deflated but not with any pressure. I tried fitting my 265x65x17 muddy spare but no dice unfortunately so it just sits on top & the 245 is an extra spare for absolute emergencies 😞
