Having run a 2.8:1 and a 4:1 case in mine....... that's all you need.

2.8 is good on sand etc and 4:1 good on rocks. IMHO anything less than 2.8 is an issue as it becomes super sensitive to throttle on rocks and lacks torque on the sand and more than 4:1 is pretty pointless as you just don't have sufficient speed variation without forever changing gears.

I doubt anyone stocks one locally but I'd guess any Jeep parts supplier will ber able to import one for you.

Just allow a bit extra time.

Was not looking for one on the shelf. Just looking to support an Australian company (and ideally AJOR sponsor) in placing the order and we all know the AA price is RRP and much better pricing can be had.

I like to support the aussie shops first, i shop direct from the US only when local prices are stupid or i just cannot get it directly. How in the hell else are the local retailers going to survive

Yea i know, would be damn happy with a rubicrawler or klune v; no auto for the first and the second is no-more

Thought i would throw out a 'anyone interested in quoting post' i was just being lazy, will have some more time to dedicate to getting quotes next week.
