I’ve got $50 on we won’t get the higher diff gears to allow the higher tow rating.

Anyone care to match it?

I think we'll have to get the higher tow rating for it to be competitive here, so if that means the 4.10 diff ratio I reckon we'll get it. I think it's pretty safe to say we won't get the 33's on the Rubi though.

RUBICON
Payload = 526 kgs
curb = 2301 kgs
GVM = 2827 kg's

2x motorcycles = 210kgs (based off my current bike)

I now have 316 kg's payload left

2x adults 160 kg's

Only 156 kg's left for any accessories you may have added!

So this is not possible in Australia (definitely not QLD)

Correct if I’m wrong the Rubicon has front and rear steel bumper, rock rails, under body plates which contributes to the payload reduction.

No idea if this relates to the 200kg difference to the sports model but will have a look at its build specs

526kg is not a lot for a ute right? 4 adults for a weekend camp...literally people a full esky/fridge and some beers and you might be getting close to capacity....with a basically empty tray.

4 adults 320kg
80l fuel 80kg approx
40l fridge 40kg approx
Tent 30kg
Other gear 20kg

Total 490kg

Most Dual cab utes in Australia 800-1000kg payload, new price might be close to a low km 79 series 🤷**♀️
