A lot of HID when used correctly in projector headlights have a yellow/ blue tinge to the top, you can notice this when a vehicle with HID projectors are coming towards you.
My MQ Triton had HID and they were only the 25watt , Low beam was faultless, Had that yellow/Blue hue to the top ( which I kind of like) High beam was a different story, added a nice slimline LED Light bar to the Nudge Bar, couldn't fault high beam after that

I haven't really use the high beam with mine yet.
The wife's Mazda 3 SP25 with hid headlights are brilliant. The high beams have a great spread and turn with the steering.
