He did remove the inlet manifold. Impossible to complete job without removal. Most of the steps he listed removing wiring harness and passenger side fuel rail is so that you can remove the inlet manifold.

Default Coolant leak and fix in Newcastle area

I posted a few weeks ago about a coolant leak in my wk2 diesel 2014 grand Cherokee from the back of the valley
If your in the Newcastle or surrounding area I can recommend In gear mechanical at Tomago 0249649965
He has been servicing my 2 jeeps
He had my Jeep 2 days fixed that leak and found another perspective leak under pressure test rectified that as well
He has also done another Jeep for the same problem
Cost was just under 1 thousand dollars including parts and labour
Cheers

Just the hose needs replacing yep. The actual piece with the 2 banjo fittings on the ends is over $900 to fix the three inch hose problem. You will also need a couple of 5/8 inch copper washers for the banjo bolt that attaches to the block just to be safe. Don't think this has been mentioned anywhere yet, perhaps they have been reused which for the sake of a couple of bucks is risky IMO

Just a heads up for anyone replacing this part. I ordered this from US in Nov last year for $46 USD! Had it replaced recently and Deal are pricing was $850!! DISGUSTING. I ordered it and had them fit it.
Hard to find but hunt for it.

They are now $190 from the US, and $940 from local Jeep dealer

Not sure why you'd buy the OEM hose in the first place as it is clearly sub standard.
