Default Sagging on one side.

I had my '96 Cherokee rear springs reset and an extra leaf added during the week, a number of long distance camping trips had caused droop. Previously there was 12mm lower on the passenger side.(left, yanks!!. Arse end is now 60mm higher and sitting level.

Like i said, it's a brand new jeep. Dealer said it was no major deal at the moment. I'll mention it when it goes in for it's first service.

no major deal? w.t.f? its sagging, get them to sort it out.
and yes, they get a lot of sagging in the XJ, we fix that stuff with the FSJ add-a-leaf.
they sag on a very regular basis, more on an even side to side ratio though.
sagging on one side means a spring has gone "off" and needs replacing, it does happen from time to time. c.j. just need to fix it for you!

It doesn't seem to cause any problems but when i'm on my own in the TJ with no gear i can feel the car tilting a bit when parked. That's what got me to check it out. I'll ask them about it again when i go in for the service.

Jeeps
I think the point teedubya is making is that it is NOT acceptable for a new set of TJ springs to be sagging.
Sure you mightn't be experiencing any adverse effects now - but seriously on a $30k+ rig - it's simply not acceptable.....
So we recommend you stand your ground and get a new set of springs :D
