Ok:
Carpet - bad. Mats - good.

Jeff, I'd love to go to the Jamboree, but I don't think work would like me going awol for it. No sense of humour those guys!

Oh yeah, anyone know any good prayers/dances to stop the rain when the tops down and you're nowhere near shelter?

Original carpet is still in and in pretty good nic for 6 years. Never once had to hose out the interior either - something about checking the depth of the mud first and tapping the mud off my boots before putting them on the floor . You guys need more Jambo show and shine focus I think ;) The paint on the floors (and everywhere else) scratches very easily so my preference is to live with the carpet.

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll have to rip them out if my current luck is anything to go by....
I have to drive to work in about 90 minutes, and guess what? Doofus that I am left the top down, and now it's absolutely bucketing outside!
Sheeesh! You'd think I'd learn......
Oh well, wet butt time!

Doug,

The carpet when pulled and hosed clean and dry pretty easily - also I've pressure washed my seats a few times and they dry pretty easy too.

BUT you do need to be carefull not to let too much mosture get behind your dashboard. Weather it's rain or hose - water behind your dashboard is not a good thing....Just take care...
