Default Body Lift - extending fuel filler hose?

Thanks Jonesy.

On a side note a mate of mine Jason is in Tassie at the moment, I passed on your number so he might give you a call about touring...not sure of his plans, or how long he's around for.

Cheers,

Ben

radiatior is easy to move around by just drilling new holes in the shroud.

Or you can butcher it like me!

I didn't have to more aircon at all.
Those damn bolts on the motor mounts and steering shaft were a PIA though....

Got the Aussie made one from Jeep City. Not much but the pucks and bolts, but a couple of hundred bucks cheaper...

Just called Rob from Jeep City, they recommend a peice of exhaust tube.

Go to an LPG dealer and get this fuel pipe its what they use when modifying fillers due to LPG gas tanks. Its flexable and very very strong. When its bent into position it lends its self to staying that way. Its fantastic stuff & its made for fuel. Sorry I forget whats its called.

I had a PA Kit too.
It included EVERYTHING :D

Anyways here's some little tid bit's I'd be considering if it's not a complete kit.
1. T/case linkage - covered.
2. Fuel Filler extension - covered.
3. Fuel Breather extension. From memory it's a pipe about 1½-2" in diameter that runs parrallel to the filler.
4. Metal spacers under the front of the guard - My kit had one for where that little bump stop looking thing is. Basically 2x2x1" bit of RHS. If bare metal paint BEFORE fitting.
5. Coupler Mount spacer. Also a 2x2x1" RHS. This is the bottom of your steering column where it's bolted to mounted to the chassis. Again paint if bare metal.
6.If you have A/C - keep a CAREFULL eye on the clearance of the lines near the radiator. you might need to remove a small bit from the radiator mounting flange for clearance.

Overall it's pretty straight forward - but take your time remember to soak as much as possible in wd40 for a few days beforehand....doing the same for the TJ will help too.....

Well I've actually been talking to the GF, and she might indeed be keen for a long-weekend in Tassie, including a fair bit of wheelin'.

Not sure when, middle of the year perhaps - might see if we can get a few of the Vic boys together for a trip. It's only about $360 return (per person) to take the Jeeps over on the Spirit.
