Wild turkey
Done your exhaust yet??? We have a cat back system They tell me the standard cat flows well enough as is. The right muffler makes all the diff , they flow so much better & sound way cool under the hammer. Have heard a HO with a twin system sounds great at idle but drones inside the cab at cruising speed.
Hope it goes well..

Nah Paul i haven't. Been busy so probably next weekend. I'll be sticking with the single system as i reckon they don't need twins, it's only 4.7L and i also want to retain some backpressure. I heard the same thing about the cats too.

I had a good look under there and they system is good for a factory job. 2 1/2" SS and mandrel bends over the diff so looks like it's just gonna be a muffler job.

Seemed to work for us with just the cat back. Fitted a K&N filter in the air box as well at the time. Didn`t do much for the fuel econ but who gives a rats.. went better. Now just gotta find some more hot up stuff to make the laredo go like a HO

Thanks billsta Got any more info on how to get ,i havn`t had any luck looking around. Brissie a bit dead for performance v8 stuff for the jeep, plenty of 4.0L stuff if you know where to go.
The cooper AT`s were great have had 2 sets on the XJ`s & had them on the grand when new. Just changed to S/T`s 255 16 Even better on the dirt just a bit noisier on the road , close the roof & turn the air on & you can`t here them..
