Just an idea, if you don't like the people you are dealing with, maybe try another Jeep dealership.

I was told by the salesmen that sold me mine, that I am 100% covered by warranty, no matter what I do, and he had a fare idear of what I put my 4wd through.

He said if I ever have problems with the dealership, go straight to Jeep Australia, or give em a call at least, and it should be sorted.
The problem I had was the dealership licence changed hands, and did'nt know where I stood as far as warrenty go's, but as it turns out you can take your TJ to any of them, Jeep Aust still pays them.

well I heard from a dealer that its not upto them.. they will fix anything as long as JEEP AUSTRALIA accepts it.. they get paided for labour.. so it would seem silly they would want to miss out on that .. and if its anything like a doctors surgery when it comes to compo.. they beef up the price of labour anyways.. so its really a win win for them.

where was the dealership you had dramas with? (albion by any chance??)
I have only just moved up to the NT from Brissy and where I bought mine from brand new, I was getting so much greef with even small warrenty jobs.

So far I have had my clutch replaced, rear main seal replaced and have had to be embarracedly towed off frazer Island when the gears on the crank angle sensor smashed up after it seized.
This is albion jeep im talking about but just before I moved up here (this year) they employed a new service manager who seemed much better, and more accomodating about warrenty items.

anyway.......rascal, lol.....

I wonder if you could claim under warranty.. as they often fail during off road use
just a thought..

Correct, Craig is now at Albion

Anyway guys thanks for the support but the service manager wasn't all that bad - i think he was either waiting for me to jump down his throat or to deny offroad use or whatever but it's not his fault it broke, shit happens. At least it was fixed for free and i get a new LSD at 60k

Should we start a tally on who's had what repaired/replaced under warranty just to get an idea? Shall i start?
