or do you mean blocks for the springs??? sorry just clicked that that is what you meant ( ive spent too much time with the GU Patrol)

I have had no trouble at all with my setup with the two add-a-leafs. After 5 years, over 70,000 kms and towing through the Outback, I still have not even sagged a 1/4"! It is true though that they will not flex as much as a well designed full replacement pack or ride as soft but that is also why have lasted so well. They suit me perfectly for what I do but not the setup for everyone.

You should also look at your rear diff and axles I broke my rear axle pretty easy after running 33" tyres.

Yeah, I have heard many stories of XJ's on 33's and axles resulting in not so fun times... in fact, my axles were on there way out and I only run 31's...

But to me, I reckon an XJ on 33's looks sweet... and mean! To get to 35's I think is pushing it a bit, unless you building a serious comp/rock crawler and its not a daily driver.

But seriously, you will need SYE for 4" and up... just too many vibes otherwise.
