Default crank angle sensor

My comsumption dropped to zero!!...couldnt start it!!..it had been operating normally, no indication whatsoever, it just woudnt start one monrning...called the RACQ, they couldnt get a spark and didnt want to touch anything...reckoned it had to go to someone with the correct diagnostic gear...had to put my Jeep on the back of a tilt truck....fortuantly the neighbours were all at work!!...I had it taken to Hammonds...there was a dead short in the engine management system which meant the OBD couldnt give out any codes...Hammonds had seen it before, knew what to do, was fixed in a couple of hours.

My replacement one from Jeep Werribee was $330.00 fitted (they ran diagnostic on it before hand as it only stopped working when hot)

They just start to die but are not something you change at any particular mileage. But as soon as you have trouble starting or it suddenly dies on you, time to quickly replace.
