Are these easy to fit? The bush in the end of mine is a bit stuffed and loose and I've been quoted about $550 plus fitting to fix it with a new rod as the bush is non-replacable. $300 with me fitting it sounds good as long as it's not too difficult.

Cheers,
HB

I will remove the other part number then if they are no longer selling it. I had actually put more bend in mine as the shorter one bent the other way! So this looks like the better one to go for anyway.

Fitted the panhard tonight and as usual I couldn't get the old one of the bracket. Luckily I had a spare bracket that I prepared last night by removing it's panhard. So I unbolted the panhard and bracket and took the whole thing off.

I could tell the original was way to short as the load on the bolts meant I had a real hard time geting them out. Once I bolted on the replacement bracket I bounced the jeep around a bit and used a plum line to get the wheels equally spaced from the outer edge of the flare. Then I adjusted up the new panhard and bolted it on.

The only thing to be careful of is mine is almost as short as it would go and thats on my close to 4" lift. You could get it to go shorter if you tapped the threads in the rod a little deeper, looking at it you could tap it another 1/2 inch!! Realistically I think this would fit a 6 inch lift or maybe even higher!!!

Anyway, on the road the Jeep felt a lot firmer and quieter. I'm puting that down to the control arms not being pushed off to one side and the bushes being square in the mounts now. You can also see in the pics that with my lift the bracket base on the body is almost parallel with the top of the panhard bar meaning there is almost no travel used up in the tierod. The stock one was far from it. All in all I'm very happy with it

Cheers
Steve

You could have just cut some thread from the end of the tie rod end too. Looks good though and glad you are happy my friend.
