Now that's an interesting comment. My dealer (here in Perth) has told me that the Rubicon is coming with the Sunrider soft top. I'll be mightily annoyed if it doesn't and insisting he puts one on...

odelay: the lovely site called ebay!

I paid US$150 for mine, with tow hooks, the metal bumper mount that mounts to the chassis, and the top and bottom plastic bits that attahc to it. Thing is in perfect condition. Only issue is with shipping, as it can get to about US$600 just to ship it here! Ive got a relative that got it in a shiping container for free, so I just gotta wait 38 days for it to arrive via sea. If it wasnt for that, I definitely would not be getting it, unless one can justify AU$1000 odd for a stick bumper. THats where I picked up the 18" gladiators w/ dueler A/T from. Getting those shipped are nearly $1800 for shipping alone.

Ill personally still be wanting the mopar ones, but see if they are available here first. THen ill flog off the US spec one. They really do look that sexy. If anyone was at the airshow at avalon, it was at the back of one of the main tents, with a range rover vogue on the other side.

Back on topic, course it's fake. Look at the directions of the shadows near / under the red one.....

You would be in the same situation as me and many others who remove the plastic end pieces on the TJ bar. Technically if you had a crash you would be up **** creek as its not legal, but i dont know whether it would be enforced or not / or whether they would even know??

Here in NZ we have to get the insurance company to agree to the changes or you may not be insured. I have never found a problem with advising them. The only thing I'm never sure of is how the Police will react in an accident.
