yeah i gave a dealership a call and a hard top from the parts department with wiring harness is $6700 OMFG so if you ever get rearended insurance is bound to write your car off

the hard top dont need a wiring harness it should be there on any wrangler sold if all your geting is a sport make them include the hardtop as part of the purchase (screw them) its only a 2 grand extra on any model at time of sale the demo ones should be still the same thing

I don't know - because I didn't order the dual top I don't have a button on the console for the rear demister or any controls for the rear windscreen wiper. Some of the wiring might be there in the harness but other bits will be required - switches and connectors at the rear.

it took them a day to do the wiring on mine and they said there was a lot more than they though no wiring no switches and no plumbing

The Hard top (dual top group) is a FACTORY option, if the car is a soft top it will need a wiring harness etc. You Guys are so harsh- think about the freight costs for a hard top- it is 1/2 the size of the car can't be packed on top of, and in transit is extremely fragile. Stop whingeing if you want a dual top, buy a dual top. That is why Carsales have so many soft-tops at the moment because everyone wants the dual top option, no-one is buying soft tops.

The wiring harness is ONLY on cars that come with a dual top, It costs a fair bit to get an auto leccy to fit the wiring.
