Hey homedj,

I run double disconnects on our JK which means you remove the entire link and put them in the glove box while on the trails. Then, just put em back in when you hit the tarmac or when you get home
I was concerned that the swaybar might end up in the way of something and do some damage (Springs, brake line etc.

Any advice anyone?

Hey homedg,

The swaybar itself (not the links) is secured tight enough in the rubber bushings to stop the swaybar moving freely on it's own, that is when there's not the weight of a 2 ton Jeep acting on it

So once you've disconnected the swaybar links you just pull the swaybar up out of the way - I normally leave mine parallel to the chassis rails and it's therefore no where near anything....even if it was loose enough to move up and down it shouldn't interfere with anything anyway.

The above is all fine unless you're actually talking about the links themselves?

I've got the JKS disconnects which results in pulling out 2 pins and entirely removing the sway bar connectors.
I was just concerned about whoat the swaybar might do if immersed in mud, hit by rocks etc.

If you reckon it will just sit in situ, not bothering anything, then happy days.
Thanks for the feedback,
Dave
