Nice new trailer, I didn't have the cash or skills to do mine from scratch so I built it up from a tradey's trailer. I had the draw hitch replaced and a tool box fitted. I did convert the axle to take jeep rims, wider centres. I currently have the axle on the springs but I am going to change that later this year for some extra clearance. I have some adjustment in the tent drop as its a roof top tent. Here's it fitted with the tent

Just adding a few more photo's.

This one shows where I mounted the in cab brake controller. It's at arms reach, which is good. When I picked up the trailer, I tried the controller out. I was sitting outside my dad's place with the Jeep in gear and handbrake off, but the manual override engaged on the controller. The trailer brakes held the Jeep and trailer.

This is what the tent will look like when I get it mounted to the trailer.

Once mounted to the trailer, this will be the finish. (Not my trailer in pic)

Thanks mate. The tent we are using is the 12 ft one. Im in Townsville at the moment but the trailer is 7x4 so I would say that at least 4 ft across. The sides at 510mm and you can see the box sits under that.

Back next week so will measure it up.

The spare stowage on the side of the trailer willbe used for a battery, using a 12 volt feed from the Jeep. Going to see how we go first.

The cost was good. I was planning on just buying a fully set up camper and looking at paying between $7,000 to $10,000. After doing the math and talking with Kerry, we planned on what I needed. All up the trailer has cost with tent $7,500.

This can be reduced more but thinks like the kitchen sink, toolbox and brakes soon add up. But in the end that what we need in this trailer.
