Did you own the car when it had standard tyres?

If you go to 35's the will be the same power loss (acceleration) that you found from stock to 32's. Probably worse.

Standard hyundai excels will beat you off the mark.

Offroad it will be terrible, and you will probably break things, not from the 35's really, just the amount of throttle you are going to use to get the thing moving!

Save your cash, do the ratios. Then that will be improving your jeep all round.

If you have 3 speed auto definetly wouldnt reccomend. If it is a 4 speed still wouldnt reccomend it.Put diff ratios in,your jeep will be much better to drive.

4.56 ratio would be more suitable for 35 inch tyres. You will have to change the front hemisphere but the rear you can buy a extra thick crownwheel and pinion

i was just talkin to a guy from arb in rockhampton. he said it would be fine to run 35's on the stock gears with the auto. he said i would just have to keep a close eye on the gearbox temp. he said thats about all that can go wrong is if the gearbox overheats. he said if it was manual he would reccomend doing the ratios but the auto will be capabe of handling it. all of my 4wding is in low range anyway so not worried about goin fast.
