Geez ,i did poke a hornets nest
I was not poking shite at other peoples choice of car ,just stating the fact that i was unhappy with the XJ ,so i sold it .

i really think its a personal thing, I love my xjs, i've got two, one on 35' which is terrible to drive on the road, noisy etc. but is unstoppable offroad. Then there's the one n 31"s leather interior etc comfortable nice quiet on road, taking it to the snow in two weeks time., after I finish the engine swap.
Heres the thing if you do most of the work yourself, you can save a bundle and really get to enjoy a great vehicle.
Maybe you just bought a lemon, i've had a cj6 before so dont tell me that was more comfortable than an xj, i was always under the hood in that pos. Mind you, im still a sucker for a cj 've got a cj7 in peices in the garage at present.
But if you prefer a jap souless peice of shit over any jeep then your in the wroung place

I never said the the cj was more comfortable than the xj ,i just found the xj to be not a comfy car for me ,i even find my wifes tj better to drive ,
