The trip attendees list now shows whether you are on the trip ("booked") or on the waitlist ("reserve"). As cancellations occur you will automatically move up the list, and into the "booked" area if there are sufficient cancellations, or convoy size is expanded. Please check your status close to the trip (and trip leaders please ensure you delete people who have cancelled - contact oops/bookings).

Well the trip was a bit interesting yesterday.
There was 3 cars in total. Two TJ's (Teej and myself) and one JK (shortyB).
To sum it up it was dry and dusty and the wheeling was pretty easy and not too challenging. It would have been a different story in the wet. There was a bit of a disappointment when we headed up one steep track which was pretty easy but still fun. When we got to the top we found out the gate was closed. It changed the day as we had to turn back and could not check out the rest of the tacks that we had planned. We went down another couple of tracks but the grader had been through there recently and made them way too easy. We checked out some more tracks before heading home home. Still it was a good day out. Thanks to dave for organising the trip.

Hey guys, just back......
Umm, just a question, did you just at the gate or get out and check it?
We went up Donald track Sunday, the gate looked closed..........got out and had a good look, no padlock, it was open.
One of 2 things:
1. the ranger unlocked the gate Friday/Sat am, then didnt bother to open it. If it appears closed, less vehicle traffic = less work for lazy rangers.
2. Smartarzzes push the gate closed after going through. I've seen this done many times.
Either way, bugger. Nice drive though.

Hmm, interesting. Well the only one to see the gate was dave so might have to check with him if he actually had a look at it. im pretty sure he would have. Well im hoping he did. When he told us we stopped and turned around in the best spot we could find. So I never saw it for myself.
What were the tracks like on the other side. More of the same?
