Thanks for the offer. I will be stopping off at Karratha with family for a day or two and wouldn't mind a look at the Burrup. Just not sure when I'll be there.

Ningaloo Station does charge fees- $10 per car per night, or a weekly rate I cant remember. The camping rules are pretty simple- camp in the allotted areas, no hooning, leave no trace, and you must have a porta loo, no digging holes to relieve yourself. I stayed there for 3 days this time last year, and even tho it was packed to the rafters (school holidays) we still mana ged to have a secluded piece of beach to ourselves.
I have to say its well worth it.
How far into the kimberley do you plan to tread? If you get to Kununurra, pm me and if I'm not at work I'll show you some sights.

We stayed at Cape Range National Park, around the corner from Exmouth, if you enjoy snorkelling it's just fantastic, straight off the beach.

If only they'd let us live there!

See you on Gibb River Road or Mitchell Plateau in July - we'll be on CH17, one WH, one Challenger one Cruiser with a slideon camper.
