one of everything

spare shock or 2 wouldnt go astray. we used to carry them in our xj.

extra spare should be a must.

as mentioned, all of your oils, fluids and what not - belts, hoses, any repair goo's and tools!

Depends where you're going, for Cape I've packed:
-Sensors (O2, CPS, CAS)
-Hoses
-Starter motor (It's going to get dunked in water a lot)
-Serpentine belt
-Tools
-Fluids (for Jeep and me)

Leaving in the van in Cairns:
-Hub assembly
-Water pump
-Viscous fan clutch

assume u already have communication...plan "B"...remain contactable, stuffs that keep u alive, to be rescue if all fail?

Some of that metal putty stuff, it can be very useful. I think its called quick steel. Can justify taking all the fluids.

List of suppliers phone numbers is a great idea!
