I will be in that.
I havent been up to Wonnangatta for a long while an am really looking forward to going/ it will be great with all the rain and snow we have had recently - there are still some spots if you want to come. I know this area very well and some of Australias best 4 wheel driving is nearby!

Glad to to you all had a good run, we survived yesterdays run up to Parkes,38 degrees was a real shock on the body and no problems with the jeep towing the Downunder Camper. Just learning the joys of modern technology on the move.
Aircon in motel of course

What a weekend - fantastic Jeeping in the high country, the sweetest spot to camp at Wonnangatta Valley, relaxing, fly fishing, drinking wine, cooking pink lamb in the camp oven and spectacular lightning and thunder from above echoing continuously from the mountains. So much history and beauty in this very remote valley surrounded by mountains. Very steep trails plenty of river crossings and challenging driving.
A great weekend with both the Land Rover Owners Club and Melbourne Jeep Owners Club combining to make it all so enjoyable.
We also had a photo jounalist from 4x4 Australia Magazine along for the ride so watch out for the January issue which will be a multi page spread of the action.
Many thanks to Micheal Haworth (MJOC) and Gerald Wolmsley (LROC) for planning this great event.
Cant wait until next year when we do it all again.
