depends what vehicle and what you want to do. If you want a bush tourer a new vehicle with a few mods would be perfect. If your after a hardcore 4wd a built one would definately be cheaper but unless you no what your looking for or know someone who does you could very easily end up with a whole catalogue of problems. I chose a new vehicle this time as i got sick of replacing stuff that was wearing out. There is no right answer to this question however it's what suits you.

TJ with 3.5 or 4.5 lift and all the necessary bits
Lockers front and rear
winch
sye
hardtop
35's and probably internal bead lockers
Thats what i want to end up with. and i want to drive it daily . Theres an 03 Tj on carsales that i was contemplating for 23k. I don't know how to put the link..or a green 05 for 16k thats stock with about 30,000 klms
