Ladies and gentlemen, it looks as tho the Harley is sold..waiting on an email from a bloke to say he's accepted my temrs and then it's on!
Shortly after gettin his hard earned, I'll be ringin the men at Novak an asking (politely) for a 6.0 LS2 turnkey kit for this bad boy..complete with 700auto, and maybe a roktrac transfer case (not sure on the rocktrac or just a little ol dana 20 transfer - opinions?)
I also discovered, after a bit of research, that I have dana 44's front an rear already, tho I'd like to do a front disc conversion (as the drums may not cut the mustard). rear discs may not be a stupid idea either.
Anyhoo, hope this lad comes up with the coin!
The CJ6 is happening...mmmmm!

Have you got any pics of the diffs?

Even though they probably are 44's they could be the less common closed knuckle fronts. Rear could be a taper 44 like the AMC20 with either 10 or 19 spline.

Rocktrac-landed would be a tad less than an Atlas T case.
Personally, I wouldn't run an LS2 with a Dana 20. Dana 300 or 208 possibly. Atlas, definately. Stak mini, yes.

Looks like a good solid base to start modding! Look forward to the updates!

Nah no pics as yet of the diffs, but I could walk out an get some..currently d/loading pics of the wife's bike for some lad.
I'll get some pics and put em up for you lads to inform me as to what they are..nuffin like knowledge stealing..
Had a bit of a think on the Dana 20, an i think i have myself convinced to run a NVG241OR...which is a rocktrac...
I had a mate over last week who's old man is a beater, an he was fairly impressed with the basics..it's a good starting point, tho it'd take shitloads to get it on the road as it is...lucky i am starting over!
Ok, I went out an took some pics of the beast...
God photo bucket is slow..
