Thanks for that very informative reply

Yes I do have 245 70 17 BFG KM2's that are just 3 months old and less than 2000klms. I'm a bit greedy and want that extra bit so I can keep up better with the wrangler boys in my club who have 33 and 35's.
and yes I JUST got some spanking brand new five 17 x 7.5" jeep wheels still in the box. Absolute bargain too.
So if any one wants the wheels and/or tyres Im willing to deal.

These would be too aggressive for a daily driver. BFG TA KO would be the ticket for me.

245/70-17 is approximately 31" Which will fit stock WJ/G with just the slightest rub on lower lip of front bumper.Thats what I found running 245/75-16 (31") on stock WJ with no lift.

Ive been running BFG mud terrains on my daily driver, only downside is more tire noise, otherwise they perform on par with any AT on blacktop.

You should have no trouble, Maybe you need to increase increase the bump stops (a very inexpensive and easy thing to do, but I'd do it AFTER buying the tyres and see if you need them.
