wow, didnt expect all this.

Well first mentasm, iv got enough room bolt the redarc on top without a worry, so there is atleast a 2.5" clearence, apart from that i have no real way of measuring.

I havent taken this for a drive anywhere more then 10 minutes yet so im not sure how hot the second battery will get, but if i get a chance today im going to grab a bit of head sheild to line the underside of the tray.
There are 1 or 2 things id like to improve, mainly just a tack on the nuts to the bolt shafts for holding down the battery.

I think iv got enough left over metal to make a second tray if i get a chance tomorrow, i still have to wire up all my other gear, the redarc, plus iv been hanging to install my rear camera. Then ill see if it can get it drawn up on CAD and lazer cut, i have to goi through my dad for that though so it would take a few weeks but ill see what i can do, ill def let you all know how it goes.

What capacity are those batteries and what are they worth?

I love what you've done but I get my SLA batteries for free so I'll never be allowed to buy two Optimas!

That's a great set up..

If could do some drawings (if ya not going to on sell) then I could get the made here in WA

Seen similar in US but they won't make for me and the LHD won't fit...

If I can't do it right...I don't do it...

WOW, Even though you say it's not ready yet, finally someone who did try and actually made one. Great work. If you decide to make a few, keep me in the loop . After the roofrack (on order now), the 2nd battery is on the list!
