Quick update, these rims need spacers to fit over WH & XH vehicles. The bolt onto JK's and WJ's without issues.

What gets in the way when you use JK rims on a WH? Does fitting stock WJ rims on a WH have the same problem too?

The JK rims hit the calipers (the fronts at least, not sure about the rears). The back of the spokes on the JK wheels are not scalloped out as much as the standard WH wheels.

I've got no idea about WJ rims. Stu?

Cheers,
Matt.

Yes the calipers foul on the back of the spokes on the rims. On the rear of the WH's there were 2 different caliper designs. A 'Flat' looking one and a traditional looking one. Not sure if they fit there either as they're pretty big for rears.

No idea on WJ rims on a WH, never tried it. I cant see a problem with it though as WJ have slightly smaller brakes and the same size 17" rim.

I guess some WJ Overland rims would look good on WH's? All depends on the offset I guess.

So I guess these are the flat looking calipers in the first pic. The 2nd pic tries to show the clearance between the caliper and the wheel when it's mounted. There was plenty of clearance so no issues on the back. The 3rd pic just shows the JK wheel with a standard 255/75/17 Wrangler on my WH.

On the front, I found that with the standard JK wheels, the 255/75/17 tyre hit the bolt along with fouling the caliper. I trial fitted a 6mm spacer and the caliper and bolt then had clearance. The tyre also seemed to clear everywhere. I'm not willing to run spacers on this vehicle though, as it's my wife's main drive.

Cheers,
Matt.
