I would be careful about assumptions around Jeep Warranties and Lifts (or any other non-Mopar modification). If you read your owners manual they usually have a section in there that warns people that installation of non-approved (ie Non-Mopar supplied and installed) lifts etc CAN violate warranty claims (if they deem it can be related to the mod). Now a Lift is unlikely to be pointed to as a reason for turning down an engine related claim, but it would certainly be referenced for CV failure, tailshaft Ujoints, or any other driveline or suspension related failure post the mod. Of course its up to the individual dealer service mgr in many cases. I have had engine related warranty work done (EGR pipe broke) and it was fixed without drama (and it would have been obvious to them that I have a 3" lift and many other things done to my Jeep. If it had been the pinion bearing they would probably have made me pay for it. So go into any mods with your eyes open and don't just expect Jeep to honour any old claim.
