Clarky, dust, water and diesel just clog the breather on your fuel cap if it does have one, doesn't matter how much you put in, though does sound funny that a check engine would come up because of a vacuum in fuel tank. Love to know the code that threw it, probably fuel pressure low. What sort of code reader did you order ?? One that reads all your Jeep systems will be a couple of grand and cheaper one will just read bog standard stuff which never does enough .
I finally did something about my check engine light, I purchased a wifi OBDII dongle off eBay and got the Rev app on my son’s iPod.
Code U0106 Lost communication with glow plug control module
So where did this code come from, U0106 is not a Jeep one and P0106 in Jeep speak refers to MAP sensor, the Jeep may have a Benz power plant but the codes it throws are Chrysler ones.
