My WG Clayton's Long Arm Kits and 4.56 ratio's have landed in Sydney, making their way up to Brisbane Shortly. Picking it all up around the 27th/28th Feb. Yeha!

wow, she's been a while since I bothered to look at this thread.

OK, the latest is:

Murchison Products Pty Ltd now has offficial approval to LEGALLY INSTALL and CERTIFY Long Arm Kits on all makes and models of Jeeps. I have the documentation with me but I'm not allowed to post copies on the web as I've been informed by the engineer that it is sensitive information and not to be distributed.

Rules are that the kit is to be supplied and installed by Murchison Products and individually inspected and passed by QLD Transport and my QLD Transport Engineer. Each vehicle will receive a mod plate and certificate with a duplicate to keep in the glove box. If the vehicle is ever sold the ORIGINAL certificate needs to be given to the new owner.

This approval can only be for QLD Registered Vehicles. It does not allow for the install to be legalised or transferred into any other state. We are not allowed to pass any other vehicle that has already had a long arm kit installed either.

Looks like I might buy that WG afterall....

Agh if you had've sorted this out before I redid my lift, I'd be taking you up on that for sure!!
