Nice! I was just picking some fun with the muddies :P

It's always a big tick for the WG, since you do that AND sit comfortably in heated leather seats

Needs better light but I've installed the chopped bumper and the muddies for a quick trip:

Not clearly visible but I finally have the Overland tow hooks installed.

I figure the bumper swap takes 20-30 minutes, which would mean preparing the Jeep for off-roading (wheel and bumper swap) takes 1 hour at most

With a 20mm lift, 31's, a slim crossmember and longer shocks this thing should be sweet

Yes, hold my beer and watch this! Coming as soon as possible after I swap the radiator from my old Jeep.

Gain #1 comes from having a single sheet of steel. 6mm is the most I can get bent locally, with some extra metal welded on the sides it should be good. Plus if I use studs instead of bolts for attaching the trans mount to the crossmember I don't need extra thickness for nuts. Some 10mm wheel studs should be easy to find.

Gain #2 comes from lifting the entire transmission up. Still thinking if I should clock the transfer case or not.

Stock:

Slim from IRO:

Slim from IRO + 25mm spacers to lift up the entire transmission:

Tell me that's not an awesome spot to gain some clearance

And what front driveshaft are you running?
Would create some funky angles lifting her up I'm assuming
