Using a clocking ring, it's the standard NP/NV 6-bolt pattern. As I said, it's probably not needed, lifting the transmission is easier. And when clocking it might interfere with the floorpan.

I'll be swapping over the double cardan from my old WG. So no worries there.
Lifting the transmission isn't as bad as lowering it, as when lowering the front output points even higher.

Sounds interesting! As it happens i just pulled the transfere out of my parts WG and was checking out the feasibility of drilling and shifting the studs.Never knew about clocking rings ,thanks for the heads up. Re the 25 mm lift, is that about max before the box hits on the floor,or can you go more with floor mods.

Don't know details about how much you can lift the transmission. That's what the guy that posted the pictures of the IRO slim crossmember said he did.

Of course when building the crossmember I might get away with making it flatter, so there's no need to lift the transmission.

As for clocking, because of the way the transfer case adapter is built you can't re-drill it like on the AW4.

I'll open a topic for all discussions AFTER I build my hydraulic press and press brake. I really don't want to rely on somebody else for bending this

Looking forward to seeing what you come up with,,it crossed my mind to just score the steel deeply with a grinder, then bend and weld. Probably do it in a vice etc. This way i might be able to bend , trial fit , then bend again before final welding.

IF it turns out nice and doesn't take forever to make one, I might make a small batch.
