I really have to consider whether this Jeep should have another engine fitted. Considering it needs a heap of work besides the engine, inc rad, hoses, CAs and is not regoed in Tas. I am seriously considering dismantling it and getting back what I can. Just keep all the upgrade bits and keep an eye out for a decent XJ at the right price.

Regards A

I have always had parts jeep. I usually pay up to 2000 for one. If it's got good TYRES and other bits then I get value. Scored a bar, winch, Rake and rear tyre carrier on one for a 1000 plus spare every thing. It had a hit up the bum

I think that might be a wise choice mate. You seem to be having so many problems than all of us on here combined. You are just throwing good money after bad.

I reckon you should cut your losses before you lose more money and do what you said.

Get another cheapie car to run around in and don't hit anything this time.

It might be time to have a rest from the xj scene for a while and start parting your old one out and advertising and get some money in your pocket for a change.
