I spent some time yesterday and folded and welded up some drawers and fridge slides for the unit I am building for the back of the Jeep, it will hold 2 drawers, 2 fridge slides (a Waeco 50lt & and a Waeco 35lt), a compressor mounted, plumbed and remote controlled plus a 120a/h AGM battery.
It is a modular system with a base frame bolted into the back of the car and each unit (containing 1 drawer plus 1 slide) can be mounted individually plus the battery/compressor unit is a seperate housing meaning any combination can be used.
I have now got to clean up the metal work, paint all the frame, carpet it and then fit the slam latches.

The school l work for wanted a small trailer with half aload (around 800kg all up) taken to there camp grounds, l thought it would be a good trip to test out my new ratios in my jeep. A big difference from 3.55 to 4.56, very happy. But going up this hill and jeep was getting hot 3/4 on gauge and next minute a big puff of smoke came from under the jeep. I say that the auto was getting hot and some oil came out and landed on the exhaust, not happy. My jeep towing with a trailer gets really hot for some reason. So need to fix the cooling for motor and gearbox, before l can use my camper. If its not one things, it another.

The frame is made from 25 x 25 SHS and the drawers and slides are made from 1.5mm zinc sheet.
Will post more pics once it is a bit further along...
