Yeah, had a bit of help with that one. My napkin design, cutting. Most of the welding done by a mate. Trying to drill the bar so it slots over the existing roor raisers was not easy. Will do a write-up when it's all finished.

Very much jealous of your work there Steve. Magnificent result!

Steve, what about trying to make the underbelly of the XJ as flat as you can get it.

ITs the cheapest form of 'lift' you can do ? and looks really neat. I'm drawing up designs for my KJ as we speak. Not as hard as it looks. Much more work in your rear carrier for comparisons' sake.

I've already chopped and raised the crossmember, the lowest bits are the t-case skid which is also homemade and raised higher than stock, also made from 8mm plate, and the muffler, which is looking rather worse for wear

Might just have a rest for a bit.

Cheers
Steve

Steve, just thought of something - did you end up putting in a bottle opener into that rear bar ?

No ?

Awesome job, I,ve been contemplating a custom rear bar (no wheel mount) for a while now and that is inspirational!
More inspiring again is the little Ozito which I also have, didn't have much confidence in it but looks like if I brush up on my welding skills it will do the job.
cheers!
