Just insure you have been driving it for a while so the engine bay is up to normal temp befor cleaning

Took it out and got it dirty(well dusty at least) for the first time in too long, still didn't figure out what my clunking is, I think it might be the rear shock BPEs.

On my petrol XJ blasted water anywhere and everywhere. Never caused any issues with sensors or the ECU. Is a VM different to most?

Took my XJ out with two mates to the gardens of Stone NP this weekend. My mates had to be pulled and winched but my little XJ just walked through. Soo happy with it. Pics to come.

Yeah I hope your gunna be OK for a few years but past experience has been that most of the time that rear seals aren't the problem, it's the 'O'ring on the filter mount on the side of the block

Got the radiator out today, to bring it to the shop tomorrow.
RB, I recalled your pic of the HD versus the other one you got. I've been counting tubes in the rads for sale, most have around 27. And indeed, my "HD" (copper core and I finally found out for sure it has the brass tanks) has around 10 more tubes. I think I'll stick to that one for now.
