Spoke to Andrew at CRD yesterday and he spoke to fabricator whilst I was on the phone yesterday.

When he gets a chance to put the bong down he will knock em up, so pipes should be done in between munchies !!!.

So I am guessing next week I should have a set. Don't worry they know that I blew another pipe whilst waiting so we should have a result shortly.

Well the stock intercool hoses on my EVO expanded by 2cm in di when it was hitting peak boost. changong to a metal pipe kit made a huge difference in spool up and was good for 8 kw on the dyno. This kit also replaced the hotside pipe on the intercooler which is very restrictive. Does the JK have a removable flange on the hotside of the intercooler? has anyone changed their intercooler for one with a better flow rate?

I have been told that the stock intercooler is huge and should be all that is needed. From what I can see, there are no removeable flanges and both sides are 2". Probably is an issue on a few makes these days, with car companies all trying to save money.

Hi all I was looking around super cheap here up in cairns the other day and saw heaps of steel / alloy of pre bent bends and as well of blue silicon joiner tubes available for turbos.. Did not price it so not sure of what they cost. Im sure you could repace all the turbo hoses with whats available. Im sure so you could find some thing close to whats on our cars. If anyone has given it a try please let us know. Might be a good supply of cheap spare hoses for those trips away.
