Yes, ecommerce business requires much knowledge and skills. You didn't ask for advice but I'd recommend paying more attention to such things as ecommerce metrics, retail supply chain management, SaaS, product data management, and payment integration. In case you don't dare to do all this work by yourself, it is better and easier to address professionals.
