hey rusty, are the transmission lines still going fine changed to rubber hoses? im thinking of doing this to mine as they are a little crushed as well. just wondering what kind of hose you used and did you just unscrew the old lines at joins and change to rubber hose from there, or did you cut the lines in a certian place and join there?

You need to use transmission cooler hose either 8mm or 5/16" and make sure your bump stops are working effectively and you won't have a problem....

Yeh mate the lines have been fine now. I used a pipe cutter to cut the lines near the tranz, then just fed the rubber hose over it a few inches and double clamped. I also ran them up alot higher and out of the way.
sweet as ill be doing the same this weekend then. ive been avoiding flexing the drivers side wheel up to much since i saw mine half crushed. might even put in a larger cooler while in at it
and jj my stock bump stops have fallen out so im going to have to do the rubber mallet trick soon and will be putting some poly blocks in the bottom of the front springs at the same time to suit some bigger tyres
