Firstly why not measure your current height, this may have a bearing on what lift you want as it'll most likely be sagged by now...
Stock (limited) is 17.5" F and 17" R when measured from the centre of the hubs to the underside of the flares.
Sports were lifted 1" from the factory....

so is a 3" lift legal? Will i pass rego or will the lift end up sagging in 10 months time?

with a 2" lift on a 99 limited i got 4.5" lift on the rear from sagged stock leaf springs and 3.75" from sagged front.

Hyperthetical question I have 3 sets of older leaf springs that i could respring and make my own lift kit.

Yay? Nay? my front isnt sagged at all but the back is LOW old springs from a 2001 xj sport

Also did this today, i know its shit but looked better than the horrible crap i did before



off to bunnings tomorrow to try and make it look not shit

This is exactly why I suggested working out what the current height is to know how much lift is required, don't know why I bother some times....
