Coolant leak appears gone as well. I still smell some coolant once in a while, but I'm pretty sure it's residual. Gonna keep my eyes peeled on that one. Not 100% sure the coolant leak is gone, but I don't know where else to look.

20 deg isnt much on the big bolts. 45 to begin with & see how much force is required. ~ 2 clicks of the elbow is about right. If any are not that tight make sure you keep on turning until they are.

Been playin with cars since I was 14. This is the area I had until I left home and got married.
I built 3 Cortinas, a HJ45, a Tory, Shorty 40 and others here, and didn't even have a chassis stand until I left home. Never dropped a vehicle.
Not stirring, just saying.
When I had my special Corty on the blocks, I had them tied together with fence palings criss-crossed, because the yard is on quite a slope.

Got it! And I will NOT be touching the little bolts... Learned my lesson on that one.

Reminds me of mt early years too. Cars in my back yard. Big engines into little cars and the like. Wish now I would have kept some of them.

If you zoom in and look really close... There's a speckle of dirt on ONE of my tyres after going through a puddle 😜
