thats not cheap enough?

1kg wont last very long at all.
I can't commit to an account as I'm on a pension and literally live week to week.

I do things as I can afford them.

To someone with a disposable income, that would be a good option.

Yeah JJ, light weight + sure weld nice. I stepped up and got the 200amp inverter Tig-Stick with hi-freq start because my stick welding is a bit average and needed the tig for thin wall tube I was mainly welding at the time.

I looked at that one but elected to go straight stick, 200a 60% duty cyle, that way less temptation for going down the gas path as I do like to TIG.
I have since seen that Tradetools offers the TIG add-on for mine, haven't got one yet though.
The 1.6mm rods do a nice job on lighter guage materials otherwise the 2.5's are the main rod of choice for me....

I hear ya JJ, yeah I love the big duty cycle & air cooled torch + will fit a remote wire feeder later on......The 25+yr old $60 Transmig 195 is still purring along so could be a long way off
