Ever since I was little I remember my dad having a spare accessory belt in the car.
I donated my spare, guess I need to grab another one.
After having a belt tensioner fail 2 km from home, I'm now keeping a spare belt tensioner in the Jeep.

I managed to score a pair of new Bilstein 5160's for a really good price. They have the same extended length as my 3.5-4" 5100's and are shorter so they should not pose any problems when flexing without the bumpstop extensions.

Based on my measurements, at full droop the coil will unseat, so next I think I will get some front JKU Rock Krawler 1.5" springs, they have a triple rate spring that is 2 inch longer than the WJ CRD spring extended and its main rate is identical to the WJ rate.

Someone used heavy duty JK AEV springs and netted the same length as advertised for the JK, so I have high hopes that the Rock Krawler springs would keep my car at the same height, upcountry + 1/2" spacer

Took off the 35-year-old 4-1/2" aircraft landing lights after one blew. (Hard to get replacement bulbs now.) Added a low-profile 100W light bar. It's twice as bright!

LED power for the win!

Brief update on the 5160's:
After driving carelessly on over some road work, the o-rings on the shaft show there still is over an inch of uptravel left, so I say that driving on the road, they are perfectly safe. Now to see how much I can flex the stock suspension arms.
