Hey what brand 285/70's are you looking at Dave? Still keen on the GY Duratracs?

Yeah, still very keen on them, just not keen on the Australian pricing of them! Been quoted from just over $400 on special (4 for the price of 3) though I havent seen that special in over a year now, to normal street prices anywhere from $465 to $550 each.

I have Pintlers with 265 Cooper ST/Maxx tyres. The tread sits underneath the guard, but the sidewall bulges just outside of the guard.

I've been contemplating 285s and I reckon the tread would just sit outside the guard.

Finally acquired all the bits to lift my 2010 jku and fitted it all today, it took me 6hrs solo which I am pretty happy with.

SuspensionStuff flexy coils
Bilstien 5100's
Terraflex rear Trackbar relocation bracket
Terrafelx steering stabiliser relocation bracket
2' bump stops and brake line extensions front and back.

I was aiming for a 2' increase but have ended up with 2.75'. Wheels and tires have been on for a cpl of months,
Pro-Comp 7105's with MT baja A/T's in 285/70.

Im pretty happy with the result the ride is heaps better than standard, and I'm happy with the look, took it wheeling today up powerlines and am more than happy with the way it performed. I just need to get me a front bar know

Cheers,
Steve

My Cousin has been quoted $260 a tyre for a set of GY Duratracs (33x12.50R15) for his FJ45. The joys of 15" wheels

They build in some fat for when the car is loaded down with some mods, you will loose another half inch after the front and rear bumpers go on and winch etc.

Nice looking truck btw, congratz!

If your willing to travel try Goodyear at Labrador on the Gold Coast..

If you want more info let me know. Shop Belongs to a mates brother and be always does good pricing for me or people I send there. He is usually $40 a tyre cheaper then other local tyre places.
