Should work the same/similiar, too.

hahaha thats true

i always found that even having one side of the bonnet un-latched made a fair amount of difference when thrashing along the beach
but id say the cool air above the radiator/engine helps push the hot air out
this all guess work so who knows

so i was coming back from Lismore sunday when i got the phone call to recover a mate who was stuck on a hill and ripped the radiator out
(who the hell goes up a steep clay hill in the rain in a stock standard Nissan navara?????????

so 2hrs later i head up this long steep clay track and find there is no way past him
it was fun turning around on a steep clay hill lucky it was recently logged and i could get off the track. to turn around. there was a easier track further along to get to the top of the hill.

drive down the track a little pull the winch out, the darn thing dose not work and my recovery kit was at home in the shed, so we pulled him using the winch like a strap (not like a snatch strap nice and slow),
had to wind the winch in by hand as he come up the hill a little more that was fun
eventually got him out was not impressed, bloody Nissan drivers

so i thought i would pull the winch back apart (after rebuilding it not too long ago), couldn't find anything wrong, went to disassemble the brushes and then found the 2 earth wires where loose,
the screws are on the out side of the winch too so i could have had it fixed there and then.
oh well that will learn to check everything is tight next time

Picked up the replacement power steering line tonight and fitted it up all good. After lifting the steering box in from underneath (third times a charm, had metal swarth falling on my face then realized I forgot the spacer ha) started to fill the reservoir with Penrite PAS only to have it start pissing out the join between pump and reservoir. Apparently the XJ reservoir doesn't fit quite as snug into the WG pump.
So tomorrow I'll either use the WG pump and block off the extra return with a vacuum block I may have from my old intake or see if I can use some o-rings on the reservoir. Worst case I'll throw the original pump back in til after Jambo.

Gold! I'm gonna be singing that all Jambo I know it ha. Even has pyrotechnics!

In the mean time can anyone confirm the that the low pressure line is the one on the rearward port of the steering box? It feels most natural due to the kink in the high pressure line it doesn't exactly fit the other way around. Found a reference on a camaro forum that it's always the high pressure one at the rear on the Saginaw boxes but that's LHD obviously.
