If you're still running the d35 it should be fine, depending of course how much you cut off the output shaft and also assuming it's not the RE unit that uses a modded/custom shaft..

All's well on the western front. [emoji41]

But the "no start" malarkey is back!!! 😠

One thing I have found out, using the throttle while turning it over, kicks it to life, just, then some judicious pedal use will keep it going, until it gets itself going. ❔❔

Q: What did you do to your XJ today ?

A: Pottered around town today... It's still a novelty to drive after it being laid up for months awaiting various parts

Need to address the the driving light power issue though... with all the overgrown "bunnies" out this way you really need driving lights at night.

I believe ruffy01 was selling a junglejuice loom cheap? Otherwise get in touch with JJ if you're looking to keep halogens.

Man it's weird to get torque steer in the XJ. It's been spinning the wheels a fair bit lately too - must be my new turbo (read vacuum leak).
Found a high school friend is now doing CNC routing and plasma cutting - will price up some steering box reinforcement plates locally in Sydney in a few weeks time. If there's interest may do a run of a few.
Also toying with the idea of mid section chassis rail plates with boat sides to the sills
They also have a run of Jeep fire pits ready soon, will try and get pics.

Cheers, yes I've got a twin loom but I think one of my relays is dead... need to get out there with the multi meter and check the leads on my driving lamps

Edit: what are the odds against 2 blown H3 bulbs?
